The result - a unified matte finish that's flawless.Suitable for all skin types.

(Click photo to enlarge)
  • Sensational Velvet Texture-A unique belnd of silicon oils and soft light powders create a sensational smoothing velvet formula to refine the skin.
  • Smooth wrinkles and fine lines
  • Perfectly hides pores
  • Skin imperfections are concealed

Ingredients(yeah its a silicone based primer)

Pinkish nude shade.which is said to bring out the skins translucency

Texture isnt as smooth or creamy as smashbox, its a bit thicker and feels quite heavy upon contact with the skin.

semi blended,it fills in fine lines, feels smooth, and velvety..but since i directly applied this one on my skin the product feels too thick for an even application so..as Loreal recommendation:

  • Rub the Product between your fingers to ease Spreading.
  • Apply a think layer focusing on areas with fine lines and visible pores.
Used alone or under foundation, this primer gives you a flawless complexion. The application is easy, pleasant and fast.
Step 1: Apply Smoothing Resurfacing Primer on shadowy areas, like under the eye, and the least smooth areas: the forehead, sides of the nostrils and around the mouth to prevent lipstick from running.
Step 2: Apply in little dabs, always smoothing the primer from the inside to the outside of the face (to avoid any tide-marks on the edges of the face).
me with L'oreal Base Magique.

ill just let the photo do the talking.points to consider..Texture,Pores visibility, face brightness, who looks much smoother, and so on.

here is a photo of me with just the Loreal and BB cream on my face, natural lighting..2 hours after.

shot taken after 6 hours..no blotting or whatsoever the place was a bit crowded, very humid and of course my never ending marathon with lil r..i just had the Purederm BB cream and a Shu uemura Tranquil blush on.

another shot of how makeup looks like on top of the L'oreal Base Magique Base Primer.

Pros:

  • Locally Available
  • Did not break me out
  • No weird smell
  • Smooths out my skin making makeup application a breeze
  • blurs out my Pores
  • Make up stayed longer compared to my Smashbox and Monistat
  • No white cast.
  • Flawless finish.

Cons:

  • looks small..15ml/tub.
  • i have to use a spatula since i find it unhygienic to constantly dip my fingers, with the packagings small opening
  • Not for those who is allergic to silicones.

Verdict:
its a great primer, its locally available plus i love how flawless my face looks, without applying too much makeup on..i also use this as an eye primer, but it doesnt perform that well on my lids,i still have to set it with kryolan to prevent it from creasing..Im amazed how my skin looks and feels like, without putting too much effort on makeup application..though i dont break out that often,i have obvious blackheads and pores...

  • One more thing recently my skins current condition is improving..smaller pores, less oily, revitalized skin and plumped with moisture
